Marsh marigold

Kingcups or marsh marigolds can be found growing wild alongside streams and in shallow water around ponds, where their foliage forms loose clumps of kidney-shaped leaves, in spring and summer large, shiny white flowers like giant, waxy buttercups appear. They look fantastic as there flowers are reflected in the water. They also make good bog garden plants, and grow well in borders that waterlog in winter.
